I moved to Kearney in 2022 from my hometown of Grand Island, Nebraska, and have truly enjoyed being a part of the campus community ever since. I come from a close-knit family and am the youngest of four siblings. Even though my parents are divorced, they’ve always made a strong effort to show us love and support, which I deeply appreciate. I’ve always been considered the artistic one in my family, and that creativity has shaped much of who I am today.

Outside of school, I have a variety of hobbies that reflect my creative and curious nature. I love cooking, especially Hispanic dishes, though I enjoy experimenting with different cuisines. Writing is another passion of mine and one of my strongest subjects. I also enjoy crafting jewelry out of clay and metal, earrings are my favorite accessory to both make and wear! My love for digital creativity is what initially drew me to graphic design; I find so much joy in creating designs on the computer and bringing ideas to life visually.

In my free time, I like to unwind by playing video games with friends and family, or going on long walks when the weather is nice. One of my proudest achievements so far is being able to attend college and pursue something I’m passionate about. In the future, I hope to work as a graphic designer for a major company, and eventually transition into freelance work so I can have more creative freedom and flexibility.
